Join the Asset Management team managing a £20bn+ loan portfolio in Real Estate & Housing. Work closely with Coverage, Structuring, Credit Risk, and Portfolio Management teams to deliver client service and risk management across the loan lifecycle. This multi-dimensional role combines asset management, portfolio reporting, and change management.

Take ownership of a commercial real estate portfolio ensuring optimal performance and proactive risk mitigation. Manage loan events like consents, extensions, additional borrowings, refinancings, and covenant amendments. Liaise with legal counsel and internal teams for seamless transaction delivery.

Review client financial reporting to extract insights from management information and covenant compliance. Engage directly with clients on loan and risk matters alongside Coverage colleagues. Identify early warning signs of credit deterioration for portfolio reviews.

Enhance portfolio reporting using data analysis to develop meaningful KPIs. Support the Asset Management Director in process improvements, new systems, and reporting. Lloyds Banking Group invests in technologies, workplaces, and colleagues for transformation.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Real Estate finance or related sector with expertise in financial analysis, credit report writing, LMA documentation and risk management
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to CIB committees and engaging clients and senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Line management experience with passion for coaching and developing others
  • Background in portfolio management and familiarity with risk mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge or experience within the Housebuilder or Housing sector

Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class client experience from loan close through to refinance
  • Manage full lifecycle of loan events including consents, extensions, additional borrowings, refinancings, covenant amendments, and annual renewals
  • Liaise with legal counsel and internal execution teams to ensure seamless transaction delivery
  • Review client financial reporting and extract key insights from management information and covenant compliance schedules
  • Engage directly with clients on loan and risk-related matters in collaboration with Coverage colleagues
  • Identify early warning signs of credit deterioration and present findings at portfolio reviews
  • Use data analysis and manipulation skills to enhance portfolio reporting and develop meaningful KPIs
