About this role
This role manages teams responsible for risk-based audit and advisory engagements across aligned technology division(s) and functional area(s) to evaluate the internal control environment. It also oversees audit execution for IT infrastructure, systems, and processes, ensuring security, compliance, and operational resilience.
Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to department and technology leaders, sharing knowledge on governance, risk, control, and expertise areas. Manage technology audit and consulting engagements for timely delivery of highest quality work and value-add recommendations. Assist multiple teams in a matrixed environment while supporting risk assessments and audit planning.
Communicate objectives, status, and results clearly to various management levels, influencing actions on recommendations to strengthen controls. Establish and maintain relationships with management across technology divisions and risk partners. Set clear team expectations, provide feedback, and leverage skills for collaboration and timely work completion.
Develop thorough understanding of processes, regulations, risks, and control environments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Drive innovation and efficiencies by challenging the status quo with agile, analytics, AI, and automation. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven related work experience with technology audit, risk, or controls (operational audits, internal audits, advisory/consulting, controls/compliance/legal); people leadership experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; IT degree or concentration preferred; graduate degree preferred
- CIA, CISSP, CCSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CISA, PMP, ITIL, AWS Cloud Architect, or other professional designation preferred
- IT expertise and experience in applications, cloud, network, cybersecurity, access control, vulnerability management, automation and artificial intelligence
- Demonstrated ability to work in complex, dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong project execution skills
- Excellent relationship skills and client-focused mindset; demonstrated influencing skills
- Data analytics literacy and leadership to advance team learning, drive adoption, and ensure effective deployment
Responsibilities
