The AML Analysts work closely with the Senior AML Manager and Directors of non-US Risk & Compliance. You will be responsible for conducting client due diligence on new and existing clients to ensure the firm’s legal and regulatory obligations in the UK, Paris, Luxembourg and Hong Kong are complied with.
You will identify clients and obtain information to evidence their existence and ownership structures using sources like Mint Global, Companies House, and Capital IQ. This role involves liaising with partners, associates, and clients to obtain documentation, completing risk assessments, and escalating high-risk clients to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Requirements
- Law graduate (or equivalent) qualification
- Strong understanding of client due diligence processes
- Ability to use information sources such as Mint Global, Companies House, Capital IQ, and Lexis/Nexis Corporate Affiliations
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks
- Ability to liaise effectively with partners, associates, and clients
- Familiarity with AML regulations in the UK, Paris, Luxembourg, and Hong Kong (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conducting client due diligence on new and existing clients of the firm
- Identifying clients and obtaining information to evidence their existence and ownership structures using information sources such as Mint Global, Companies House, Capital IQ, Lexis/Nexis Corporate Affiliations, and the internet
- Liaising with partners and associates, and also with clients, to obtain information and documentation not available from public information sources
- Completing risk assessments for both clients and matters
- Identifying high risk clients and escalating any issues to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer in the relevant office(s)
- Liaising with the Conflicts team to ensure that all new client/matter opening requirements are completed
- Advising on ongoing monitoring of clients/matters in accordance with legal/regulatory requirements
- Dealing with ad hoc AML queries and assisting with projects relating to the firm’s adherence to its legal and regulatory obligations outside the US
