Join a dynamic global exposure portfolio management team based in London, managing liability driven investment (LDI) strategies and fixed income hedging for institutional clients globally. This Senior LDI Portfolio Manager role involves trade generation, monitoring, and broader portfolio management responsibilities, with a focus on EUR LDI mandates. Take ownership of individual accounts and engage directly with clients.

Design, implement, and monitor LDI portfolios in line with investment guidelines using bonds, swaps, repos, futures, and swaptions. Collaborate with the trading desk to ensure smooth execution of orders and address hedging needs. Monitor and analyze portfolio performance to align with client objectives and risk parameters.

Work collaboratively with LDI and currency portfolio management colleagues as well as the broader fixed income team. Support new account onboarding by coordinating with legal, compliance, and client service teams. Respond to client and consultant inquiries regarding hedging programs and portfolio activity.

Proactively contribute to enhancing internal systems and processes in partnership with the technology team. Contribute to the evolution of offerings including new solutions, tools, reporting enhancements, and technology updates. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of LDI hedging strategies, in particular for Dutch pension schemes
  • Solid grasp of macroeconomic trends and their influence on fixed income markets
  • Demonstrated track record of managing segregated LDI portfolios and engaging with trustees and consultants
  • Fluent in Dutch
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret complex concepts and explain them simply
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially under time-sensitive conditions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Bloomberg and Python/VBA is advantageous

  • Contribute to the constant evolution of offerings including new solutions, tools, reporting enhancements and technology updates
