You will develop business relationships and work alongside Senior Management and key stakeholders to ensure appropriate understanding and implementation of regulatory expectations. Your role involves maintaining an up-to-date regulatory risk profile for your Division, presented regularly to governance forums, and developing an annual Compliance Plan that dovetails with the overarching strategy.
You will act in an advisory and consultative capacity, supporting the Division with interpretation and application of regulatory expectations while ensuring first-line ownership of systems and controls. As the primary point of contact for strategic initiatives like restructuring and acquisitions, you will liaise with other Specialty and Central Compliance Functions as needed.

Requirements
- Proven ability to develop and maintain a robust regulatory risk profile for a business division.
- Experience in providing compliance support and oversight within a financial services or insurance environment.
- Strong understanding of UK regulatory expectations and their application to governance, strategy, and operational processes.
- Ability to build effective business relationships with Senior Management and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to develop and execute an annual Compliance Plan aligned with strategic objectives.
- Experience acting in an advisory and consultative capacity, interpreting regulatory requirements for business units.
- Familiarity with managing compliance aspects of strategic initiatives such as restructuring, acquisitions, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Act as the dedicated Executive Compliance Business Partner for a specific Division within the UK&I Specialty Pillar, providing compliance support and oversight.
- Develop business relationships with Senior Management and key stakeholders to ensure effective understanding and implementation of regulatory expectations.
- Maintain an up-to-date regulatory risk profile for the Division and present it regularly to relevant governance forums.
- Develop and maintain an annual Compliance Plan that aligns with the Division’s strategic objectives and dovetails with the overarching Compliance Plan.
- Ensure regulatory matters, concerns, and risks are visible and reported in a timely manner to Divisional Senior Management and the appropriate assurance committee.
- Act in an advisory and consultative role to support the Division with interpretation and application of regulatory expectations, while ensuring first-line ownership of systems and controls.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key strategic, commercial, or operational initiatives, such as restructuring, acquisitions, and integrations, liaising with other Compliance Functions as necessary.
