Join UBS as an Analyst in the leading infrastructure and power franchise in EMEA with a dynamic, tight-knit team culture. Sector focus spans power, utilities, and infrastructure assets.

Provide key analytical support for idea-origination efforts and transaction execution in M&A, equity, debt, private capital markets, and continuation vehicles. Focus on sponsor-owned power generators, renewables, net zero assets, regulated utilities, transmission, distribution, ports, toll-roads, and rail. Engage across core and core+ mandates with cross-staffing opportunities.

Work in a high-profile team active in sell-side M&A leadership over the past four years. Cover power technologies like flexible generation, nuclear, interconnectors; utilities including molecules, electrons, water; infrastructure like leasing and value-add assets. Requirements

  • University degree in finance, economics, business administration, mathematics, or related technical field
  • 1-2 years experience in investment banking including idea generation and transaction execution with focus on M&A
  • Excellent financial modelling experience including operating models, DCFs, merger models, LBOs
  • Robust understanding of asset and corporate valuation
  • Ability to prepare Excel models and PowerPoint decks
  • Solid financial and accounting skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Previous experience in infrastructure, power, or industrial sector preferred
