About this role
We are looking for a junior Analyst to join the Communications, Media & Entertainment sector team. The role involves preparing market analysis, strategic analysis, and valuation/financial modelling for clients in the communications infrastructure sector. You will also advise clients on strategy and successful implementation of transactions.
Day-to-day tasks include assisting in execution of mandated deals and preparation of marketing pitchbooks. You will gather public information, create financial model analyses, and analyse company performance on absolute and relative bases. Drafting marketing documents and producing databases will support client needs.

Requirements
- Knowledge of financial services, accounting and regulatory capital through current employment
- Understanding of the communications infrastructure sector, key players, strategic dynamics and current issues
- Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills with ability to interact with clients at all levels
- Rigorous work ethic and willingness to invest time required to meet deadlines accurately
- Knowledge of Investment Banking services and ability to apply them creatively
- Advanced computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience with information sources: Bloomberg, Reuters, Thomson Financial
Responsibilities
