As a Pre-Sales Consultant focused on Financial Services, you will bridge the capabilities of our technology with the domain-specific needs and workflows of clients in asset management, investment banking, private equity, and hedge funds.

In this role, you will partner with Account Executives to take ownership of seamless product evaluations, driving new business revenue growth. You will conduct targeted discovery into clients' unique research workflows and painpoints, running tailored demos and guiding prospects to successful outcomes.

You will join a team of trusted partners within the Customer Success organisation, working closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Content, Sales, and Marketing. This role is uniquely positioned to inform go-to-market strategy and decisions due to its extensive client exposure.

As a domain and product expert, you will forge strong client relationships and champion the client perspective, playing a critical role in defining future use cases for key personas. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to product development by translating client feedback into actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Fluency in German (spoken and written) is required
  • Experience in a pre-sales or sales engineering role within financial services
  • Deep understanding of workflows in asset management, investment banking, private equity, or hedge funds
  • Strong ability to conduct discovery and tailor product demonstrations to client needs
  • Proven ability to build rapport and credibility with senior investment professionals
  • Commercial acumen and experience partnering with sales teams to drive revenue

Responsibilities

  • Partner with GTM teams to drive commercial outcomes by collaborating with Account Executives and running seamless product evaluations
  • Build and curate Financial Services use cases through targeted discovery into clients' unique research workflows and painpoints
  • Forge and maintain strong client relationships with investment professionals of all levels at financial institutions
  • Engage directly with prospects to understand their most pressing challenges and establish yourself as a credible domain and product expert
  • Contribute to product development by translating client feedback and proactively shaping future use cases for key personas
  • Run high-impact evaluations combining deep product knowledge, commercial acumen, industry experience, and strong client intuition
