The role focuses initially on UK operational real estate like student accommodation, single family housing, care homes, self-storage, and hotels in joint ventures. Source and underwrite opportunities with deep market understanding. Later expand across all sectors including office, retail, industrial, and residential.
Assist in developing financial models, market research, property assessments, due diligence reviews, and investment memorandums. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders while monitoring performance and compliance. Collaborate with portfolio managers, asset managers, and capital markets teams.

Requirements
- Masters degree in real assets or finance
- 4/5 years’ relevant work experience in direct real estate or real asset finance
- Demonstrable analytical and technical skills as well as very strong verbal and written English
- Experience in operational real estate, particularly residential, care homes, student accommodation, self-storage and joint venture investing
Responsibilities
- Source and underwrite investment opportunities with deep understanding of the UK real estate investment market
- Include debt into cashflows and generate loan covenant analysis using cashflow projections
- Assist in development and management of financial models, market research, detailed property assessments
- Review due diligence reports, prepare investment memorandums for investment committees, communicate with stakeholders
- Conduct quarterly review of appraisals for factual accuracy and articulate valuation changes
- Monitor property performance through monthly operating reports and ensure compliance with loan covenants
- Prepare authorization memos including sales memos, budget increases, loan refinance memos, lease approval memos
