About this role
Triple Point manages more than £3.6 billion of assets through strategies including Clean Heat, Private Credit, and Venture. The Energy team oversees pools of capital invested in debt and equity to accelerate the transition to Net Zero. Following rapid growth in lending, we seek a Debt Portfolio Associate with debt financing experience in renewables.
This role involves assisting with covenant testing, portfolio monitoring, and financial modelling of investments. Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting, update project cashflows, and handle loan maintenance and compliance. Develop relationships with developers, sponsors, and stakeholders while staying current on market trends.

Requirements
- Demonstrable strong skill in financial modelling and analysis
- Sound understanding of debt structures and documentation
- 2-3 years relevant experience in project finance, investment banking, or private debt, ideally energy/infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Developing skill in relationship management and negotiation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in renewables and/or storage assets in UK/Europe preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the Portfolio Manager with covenant testing on the portfolio
- Proactively monitor the portfolio using a targeted and pragmatic approach
- Prepare monthly and quarterly portfolio reporting for committee review
- Update and forecast project cashflows in line with budget forecasts
- Conduct financial modelling and analysis including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and risk assessments
- Assist in preparation and approval of loan waiver requests
- Maintain loan compliance including utilisation requests and repayment schedules
- Develop relationships with project developers, sponsors, lawyers, and stakeholders
