Interpath is a financial advisory business providing an agile, independent, and conflict-free environment. The Financial Services M&A Advisory team is well connected with businesses, banks, Private Equity, and funds, covering lending platforms, banks, fintech, servicers, and loan brokers. Core services include sell-side mandates, buy-side advice, strategic advice, equity raises, and structured equity trades.

The Manager will play a key role in executing M&A transactions, contributing from initial pitch and financial modelling to drafting IMs, project management, deal structuring, and execution. Day-to-day tasks involve managing origination and execution of deals, performing financial and strategic analysis, assessing complex data sets, and overseeing data and marketing materials.

The team prides itself on being highly responsive, providing outstanding advice, and working seamlessly across service lines. Candidates gain direct exposure to all seniority levels internally and direct client contact while managing junior colleagues.

Significant market opportunities exist in the UK and certain European jurisdictions, where the team is well positioned with strong industry knowledge. The role offers proactive participation in originating deals, driving business development, sector analysis, and team building in a rapidly growing practice.

Requirements

  • Direct M&A experience gained in M&A advisory, investment banking or corporate development roles
  • Experience in the Financial Services sector
  • Preference for experience in banking, lending or speciality finance
  • Experience in insurance is a plus
  • Ability to work on multiple deals simultaneously
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and sector analysis

Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist in the origination and execution of M&A transactions in Financial Services
  • Perform financial analysis, strategic business analysis and detailed industry research
  • Assess large and complex data sets and provide insights to clients and colleagues
  • Oversee and support the preparation of data and marketing materials for transaction processes
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations in a clear and compelling manner
  • Support and coordinate Due Diligence processes
  • Manage junior colleagues and provide guidance through on-the-job learning
  • Stay informed about market developments, industry best practices, and regulatory changes
