About this role

You'll join UBS Investment Bank’s GB Consumer & Retail Group in London, originating and executing strategic transactions for leading corporate and financial sponsor clients in the Consumer & Retail sector.

Day-to-day work centres on financial modelling, valuation and analytical tasks, managing multiple workstreams and delivering high-quality output against tight timelines with strong attention to detail.

You'll collaborate within a supportive team that values diverse skills and backgrounds, placing collaboration at the heart of everything while using AI to work smarter and more efficiently.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of prior full-time Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experience with genuine interest in Consumer & Retail
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills with high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise under pressure, and deliver high quality output on tight timelines
  • Clear and concise communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Eager to learn, ready to challenge themselves and motivated to join a highly successful team
  • Team player who takes responsibility and accountability for their work
  • University degree in any discipline, min 2:1 or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Originate and execute strategic transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients in the Consumer & Retail sector
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
  • Manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality output on tight timelines
  • Prepare client materials and support transaction execution processes
  • Conduct industry and company-specific research to support deal origination
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to progress live mandates
