The Vice President, Global Financial Services oversees a portfolio of global private equity accounts, with primary focus on venture capital and technology investors. This key commercial and people leadership role involves leading high-performing client service teams. It emphasizes owning senior client relationships, driving revenue growth, and setting overall service strategy.

Own commercial relationships across a $20M+ book of business spanning 80+ accounts, leading renewals, upsell, and expansion. Develop and own commercial plans for accounts and client service teams. Foster relationships with primary parent account signatory and senior decision makers while unlocking GLG leadership introductions.

Oversee performance management across teams, holding Managers accountable to service model and commercial expectations. Lead people development, account-specific learning agendas, and core service delivery best practices like Service 360 model. Empower team members through recognition, rewards, and global team-building events.

This truly global role spans U.S. and Europe, requiring frequent travel to key hubs including New York, London, Boston, and San Francisco. Partner with New Business, Compliance, Operations, Product, and global teams to onboard clients and roll out capabilities. Drive team hiring, capacity alignment, and turnaround plans for at-risk relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven track record managing global private equity accounts focused on venture capital and technology investors
  • Experience owning senior client relationships and driving revenue growth across $20M+ books of business
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing client service teams in financial services
  • Comfort with frequent travel across U.S. and Europe client hubs including New York, London, Boston, and San Francisco
  • Expertise in developing commercial strategies, user activation, and account expansion in private equity
  • Strong people leadership skills including performance management and developing managers
  • Knowledge of expert network products and services tailored to PE clients

Responsibilities

  • Own commercial relationships across a $20M+ book of business spanning 80+ accounts, leading renewals and driving upsell and expansion
  • Develop and own the commercial plan for all accounts and client service teams
  • Foster and maintain relationships with primary parent account signatory and senior decision makers
  • Oversee team efforts to cultivate relationships with key client users and drive user onboarding and activation
  • Understand revenue performance trends and execute turnaround plans for lower activity or at-risk relationships
  • Partner with New Business team to onboard new clients and ensure high-quality trial periods
  • Lead Managers for multiple teams and develop the next generation of leaders
  • Oversee performance management across teams, holding Managers accountable to service model and commercial expectations
