About this role

We're seeking an Executive Director to join the Treasury Capital Markets team supporting management of the Firm's European legal entities from a funding perspective. In the Finance division, act as a partner to global business units by providing management, analysis and advisory services of financial and capital resources. This is an Executive Director level position within Corporate Treasury Capital Markets.

Manage the design and day-to-day implementation of diverse debt and deposit offerings, hedging strategies and funding pricing for EMEA entities. Lead funding planning across unsecured funding and deposit channels. Oversee assessment and implementation of new funding products, vendors and counterparties collaborating with Wealth Management, ISG, Controllers, Risk, Legal and Tech.

Collaborate with varied colleagues in Finance and across the Firm while leading end-to-end processes requiring complex decision making. Provide vision and direction to tech development for software managing unsecured funding and partner with Global TCM teams on deposit initiatives. Oversee team risks, controls and documentation like policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of Treasury, industry, and competitive environment and technical skills, including risks and key regulations relevant to the division
  • Strong technical skills

  • Ability to manage risk and impact to functional area, and create plans to mitigate those risks
  • Experience of managing a team of resources

Responsibilities

  • Manage the design and day-to-day implementation of a diverse and stable debt and deposit offering, related hedging strategies and funding pricing for the Firm's EMEA Entities
  • Manage funding planning across the EMEA entities' unsecured funding and deposit channels
  • Lead the team defining and executing the funding strategy in EMEA to support funding, liquidity and balance sheet objectives
  • Oversee the assessment and implementation of new funding products, vendors and counterparties by collaborating with Wealth Management, ISG, Controllers, Risk, Legal, Tech and others
  • Provide a vision and direction to the tech development team and stakeholders to deliver software solutions used to manage unsecured funding
  • Partner closely with the Global TCM teams and business units on deposit and other funding initiatives
  • Oversee the team's risks and controls and associated documentation (e.g., policies & procedures)
  • Create and deliver effective presentations for senior management forums and to regulators
