This permanent full-time role in London delivers work of exceptional quality and insight. It involves direct liaison with internal and client management teams to support various projects.
The role leads financial analysis and valuation modelling processes while overseeing research on target industries, markets, and competitors. Daily tasks include conducting client interviews to gather pertinent data, developing strong client relationships, and reviewing analyses for comprehensive reports. High standards are maintained through mentoring junior team members.
FRP operates from 35 offices across the UK, Isle of Man, and Cyprus, specialising in Corporate Finance, Debt Advisory, Forensic Services, Financial Advisory, and Restructuring Advisory. Requirements
- Extensive work experience in valuations, specifically in the Infrastructure or Financial Services sector, ideally in a reputable accounting or advisory firm
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or CFA
- Degree in Economics, Maths, Finance, or Business; postgraduate degree is a plus
- Extensive knowledge of valuation methods such as Discounted Cash Flow, Guideline Company, Guideline Transaction, Black-Scholes, and Monte Carlo
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the financial analysis and valuation modelling processes
- Oversee research on target industries, market, and competitor information
- Conduct and manage client interviews to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with management
- Review and present analyses and conclusions within comprehensive written reports
- Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high standards of work quality
