Join MUFG's EMEA Capital Markets Group, where you will focus on origination, structuring, and distribution of financial instruments to raise capital for clients. This role sits within the Investment Grade Capital Markets team, leveraging MUFG's strong corporate client relationships and global investor footprint.
Day-to-day, you will support the Bond & Loan Origination function from initial transaction analysis through to final documentation and completion. Responsibilities include preparing pricing, deal screening memos, and arranging materials for pricing meetings, as well as producing high-quality client presentations and pitch-books.
You will work closely with senior originators and distribution channels, building client relationships and developing a practical understanding of MUFG's wider product capabilities. The team collaborates with GCIB and operates in a fast-paced environment where your voice is heard and your actions count.

Requirements
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling and pitch book creation.
- Understanding of debt capital markets, bond and loan origination, and syndication processes.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and other market data platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and internal interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support the Bond & Loan Origination function throughout transaction stages, including preparing pricing, deal screening support memos, and arranging material for pricing meetings.
- Take the lead on producing high-quality, tailor-made client presentations and pitch-books.
- Conduct market research on pricing, deal structures, and investor activity as required.
- Manage internal and external transaction processes, focusing on preparation of offers, client presentations, and documentation management.
- Provide support to senior originators, ensuring all administrative and compliance tasks associated with origination are completed.
- Build client relationships and approach clients in a professional and structured manner.
- Develop a practical understanding of MUFG's wider product capabilities and how the Bonds & Loans teams interact with these products, including overall client relationship profitability.
- Develop a practical understanding of all core systems and procedures and how they link into standard systems.
