As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will partner strategically with business leaders across national and regional capital markets to drive informed decision-making and sustainable growth. You will have a seat at the UK Capital Markets Steering Committee, contributing strategic insights and providing constructive challenge.
Your daily work involves delivering comprehensive business performance insights that unlock value and identify strategic opportunities. You will conduct deep-dive analysis to assess risks, evaluate market dynamics, and incorporate perspectives from our internal Research team while forecasting future performance impacts.
You will lead the evolution of budgeting and forecasting capabilities, driving accuracy and strategic foresight. Working with team leads, the Centre of Excellence, and Controllership, you will ensure visibility and accuracy of commissions and optimise working capital through timely invoicing initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to shape business direction through strategic influence and transformational change initiatives. You will help upskill business teams on finance terminology, particularly promotees, enabling them to drive profitable growth and gain deeper understanding of JLL metrics.
You will conduct critical assessments of all Capital Markets sub-segments to identify high-potential growth areas within a three-year strategic horizon. You'll architect comprehensive growth strategies focused on enhancing profitability in both absolute terms and percentage margins.
Requirements
- Proven ability to partner strategically with business leaders and influence decision-making at a senior level.
- Strong analytical expertise to conduct deep-dive analysis and transform complex data into actionable intelligence.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes within a complex business environment.
- Executive presence and gravitas to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, commanding respect through expertise and strategic acumen.
- Understanding of revenue recognition principles and working capital optimization techniques.
- Ability to architect comprehensive growth strategies and evaluate investment ROI and payback periods.
- Experience in capital markets or real estate finance is preferred.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and pipeline reporting to drive competitive advantage.
Responsibilities

- Serve on the UK Capital Markets Steering Committee, contributing strategic insights and providing constructive challenge to shape business direction.
- Lead the evolution of budgeting and forecasting capabilities, driving accuracy and strategic foresight while developing longer-term financial plans.
- Deliver comprehensive business performance insights through deep-dive analysis of risks, market dynamics, and future impacts.
- Establish robust commercial frameworks and lead transformational change initiatives to ensure delivery of critical operational, commercial, and financial objectives.
- Provide expert support on revenue recognition matters, partnering with Controllership and the Centre of Excellence.
- Ensure visibility and accuracy of commissions throughout the year, optimising working capital through initiatives enabling timely invoicing.
- Conduct critical assessments of Capital Markets sub-segments to identify growth opportunities and evaluate ROI of strategic hires.
