About this role
Hiscox is a global specialty insurer with roots as a UK family business, now spanning Hiscox Retail, Hiscox London Market and Hiscox Re & ILS, supported by Group Functions. The Internal Communications Business Partner for Group Functions reports to the Global Head of Internal Communications. This London-based hybrid role delivers high-impact communications support across functions.
You will work closely with executive stakeholders to align messaging, providing executive communications support and preparing briefing materials. Plan and deliver town halls, generate engaging content for internal channels, and coordinate events. Foster relationships to translate priorities into compelling communications that boost employee engagement.
The Group Internal Communications team connects and engages the global workforce, supporting leaders and ensuring critical messages reach employees. It fosters alignment across Group Functions while nurturing organisational culture. You will business partner specific executives like COTO, Technology, Claims and Finance.
Key focus includes global cascade communications for leaders and managers, developing comms plans supporting global strategy. Support global programmes, measure impact and report outcomes. Enhance strategic objectives through clear, timely communication in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Exceptional writing skills to craft compelling messages and adapt tone for stakeholders
- Content creation expertise across articles, intranet updates, presentations, video concepts, scripts and visual materials
- Advanced Microsoft Teams proficiency for webinars, collaborative workspaces, technical set-up and audience interaction
- Direct video shoots and internal broadcasts ensuring high production standards
- Strong creative flair generating fresh ideas for engaging content and campaigns
- Agility to work at pace responding quickly to business needs and tight deadlines
- Multitasking and prioritisation managing multiple campaigns and projects
