About this role
Workiva is seeking a strategic, hands-on Product Marketing Director to own product marketing for one of its core areas across EMEA: Finance, GRC, or an Industry. This high-impact individual contributor role works across sales, marketing, and product leadership to bring Workiva's innovations and value propositions to life.
Day to day, you will be the person who deeply understands your buyers—what keeps them up at night and what problems they are willing to invest in solving. You will translate that knowledge into differentiated positioning and messaging, and create sales assets and plays that help Workiva win in the EMEA market.
You will partner closely with Competitive Intelligence, field teams, and product leadership to drive go-to-market excellence and arm reps with battlecards, enablement materials, and insights that shorten deal cycles across multiple EMEA countries. You will also engage directly with customers, prospects, and industry leaders through events, webinars, and thought leadership.
This role offers the opportunity to close the loop by bringing market and competitive insights back into the business to inform product direction, pricing, and where Workiva focuses next. You will spot regulatory and market shifts early and position Workiva ahead of them, shaping both regional strategy and global product direction.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in B2B product marketing or related functions in the SaaS industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related field.
- Familiarity with European regulatory environments and experience running GTM across multiple countries.
- Storytelling ability to translate complex, technical products, including AI, into clear, compelling, differentiated value for both executives and practitioners.
- Cross-functional influence: proven ability to align leaders across Sales, Product, Enablement, and Customer Success behind a shared plan.
- Customer focus: track record of turning buyer and market insight into positioning that wins.
- AI fluency: uses AI tools regularly to work faster and sharpen strategy.
- Experience in one or more of the following domains is a strong plus: financial reporting, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), or a specific industry vertical.
Responsibilities
- Build clear, differentiated messaging and positioning that shows how Workiva solves real problems for EMEA buyers within a specific solution area of Finance, GRC, or an Industry.
- Turn complex product capabilities into simple, compelling stories for senior executives and practitioners.
- Own the GTM strategy for your solution area end to end, from launch planning through revenue impact.
- Partner with Competitive Intelligence to build battlecards and sales tools that help reps win deals.
- Create and maintain sales assets and enablement materials including first-call decks, solution content decks, data sheets, and sales plays.
- Arm field teams with the training, content, and insights they need to shorten deal cycles across multiple EMEA countries.
- Bring customer and competitive insights back into the business to shape regional strategy and global product direction.
- Engage directly with customers, prospects, and industry leaders through events, webinars, and thought leadership.

- High-impact individual contributor role with direct influence on product direction, pricing, and regional strategy.

- Work across sales, marketing, and product leadership in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
