Analysts research relevant industries to support marketing initiatives and contribute content to pitch books via ad-hoc analysis. They update industry databases, develop financial models, and apply valuation techniques like discounted cash flows, trading comps, and transaction comps. Responsibilities include drafting teasers, Information Memorandums, and strategic review reports while supporting transaction coordination.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year experience in the infrastructure or energy & power sector
  • Previous experience gained in a similar role in another financial services organization
  • Experience developing financial models and valuations with understanding of financial statements analysis
  • Previous exposure to infrastructure-like financing products and capital structures
  • Exposure to fundamental financial principles and experience applying these
  • Effective relationship building skills with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
  • A level or equivalent: ABB or above
  • Degree or equivalent: 2:1 or above

Responsibilities

  • Research relevant industries to support the wider team’s marketing initiatives, optimising various sources of information
  • Contribute content to pitch books by conducting ad-hoc analysis
  • Update industry databases and credentials
  • Develop and maintain standard or bespoke financial models with support from colleagues
  • Use a range of valuation techniques including discounted cash flows, trading comps analysis, and transaction comps analysis
  • Draft strategic review and transaction documentation such as teasers, Information Memorandums, and strategic review reports
  • Support the team in coordinating the transaction process both internally and with other advisers
