About this role
As an Analyst or Associate in the International Funds Banking team within Global Corporate Banking at J.P. Morgan, you support the growth and management of relationships with leading international sponsor funds across Europe and the Middle East.
You work closely with senior bankers and product partners to deliver fund finance solutions, cash management, capital markets, and risk management products at both fund and firm level.
The role provides exposure to high-profile transactions and senior stakeholders in a dynamic, collaborative, and international environment, supporting transaction execution and ongoing client relationship management.
You coordinate across credit, legal, and product teams while maintaining internal reports, conducting industry research, and contributing to strategic projects that drive origination and cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements
- United Kingdom 2:1 Bachelor’s degree or similar with outstanding academic credentials
- Relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, or Credit
- Strong analytical and quantitative skillset including the ability to interpret financial information and support credit analysis
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced international environment and manage multiple priorities across geographies and time zones
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Collaborative mindset with strong partnership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with senior professionals and clients
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Support senior bankers in managing and developing client relationships with international sponsor funds across EMEA
- Drive execution of management company lending and support Markets teams in delivering fund finance solutions including subscription lines and NAV loans
- Prepare high-quality client materials including pitchbooks, market updates, and strategic analyses
- Coordinate internal processes for transaction execution including preparation of committee papers and participation in discussions to secure approvals
- Partner with Credit Risk on structuring, underwriting, and approval of transactions
- Work with product teams such as Payments, Markets, and Treasury Services to deliver integrated solutions across the region
- Conduct industry and company research to support origination efforts and maintain deal tracking and pipeline reports
- Support portfolio company tracking and analysis of sponsor wallet share to monitor coverage and cross-selling opportunities
