The Credit Risk department manages the full credit risk life-cycle, including analysing counterparties, assessing exposures from transactions, and modelling potential future exposure across power, gas, LNG, and other energy commodities.

Support the Credit team by preparing credit analyses to recommend ratings, limits, and terms, while managing documentation like EFETs, ISDAs, and credit support such as Letters of Credit. Handle administrative tasks including credit reporting distribution, late payment escalations, and data reconciliation in Credit systems.

Work in a collaborative, team-based environment with a flat structure that promotes open communication and access to management. Exchange ideas and technical insights on diverse physical and financial energy markets with a counterparty base spanning multiple commodities.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyse and monitor counterparty credit risk in energy portfolios
  • Proficiency in preparing credit analyses for ratings and exposure limits
  • Familiarity with energy trading documentation like EFETs and ISDAs
  • Experience managing credit support such as Letters of Credit and guarantees
  • Knowledge of credit exposure assessment and PFE modelling
  • Skills in monitoring exposures and handling credit events
  • Competence in credit reporting and data reconciliation
  • Understanding of power, gas, LNG, and environmental products markets

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Credit Manager, supporting day-to-day management of the energy portfolio
  • Prepare comprehensive credit analyses to recommend credit ratings, exposure limits, and contractual terms
  • Manage energy-related documentation including EFETs, ISDAs, and bespoke agreements
  • Handle credit support instruments such as Letters of Credit and Parent Company Guarantees
  • Research and analyse counterparties across physical and financial energy markets
  • Assess credit exposure from new or legacy transactions and model potential future exposure (PFE)
  • Monitor and report credit exposures and credit-related events
  • Escalate late payments and maintain accurate data reconciliation in Credit systems
