About this role
Join UBS as a Credit Risk Analyst in Structured Lending within the IB CRC Credit Risk Control team. The team independently assesses transaction risks, constructively challenges diligence work and financial modelling produced by the front office, and monitors risks in the IB Structured loan portfolio. They serve as the firm’s second line of defense for collateralized lending transactions.
Day-to-day involves independently assessing risks associated with origination and portfolio monitoring of structured loans. Constructively challenge front office analysis to ensure robust risk controls. Focus on transaction-level diligence and ongoing portfolio oversight in investment banking.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area of concentration
- Some level of formal credit training (CFA Level 1 or 2 viewed favorably)
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting concepts
- Relevant working experience in a corporate transaction environment
- Credit skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Experience with Bloomberg and KMV helpful
- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Review collateral and creditworthiness in investment banking transactions
