The Pre-Sales Consultant works inside the Customer Success organisation alongside Account Executives. The role runs tailored evaluations for investment professionals in asset management, investment banking, private equity and hedge funds.

Day-to-day work centres on discovery calls, bespoke product demonstrations and structured evaluations that map client workflows to AlphaSense capabilities. Close partnership with Product, Content and Marketing teams feeds real-time market feedback into go-to-market decisions.

The position offers extensive exposure to senior decision-makers across global financial institutions. Successful consultants influence product direction while progressing commercial outcomes in a high-growth, cross-functional environment.

Requirements

  • Deep product knowledge combined with commercial acumen and Financial Services industry experience.
  • Strong client intuition and proven ability to run high-impact evaluations with investment professionals.
  • Fluency in German and English for client-facing discussions with European financial institutions.
  • Ability to act as domain and product expert throughout the full sales evaluation cycle.
  • Experience collaborating across Product, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to own and run seamless product evaluations that drive new business revenue.
  • Conduct targeted discovery into clients' research workflows and pain points to build Financial Services use cases.
  • Engage directly with investment professionals at all levels to understand pressing challenges and establish credibility.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable insights that inform Product, Content and go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and refine emerging use cases as AlphaSense capabilities evolve for asset managers, banks and funds.
