This fixed-term maternity cover role has day-to-day responsibility for producing and maintaining Group Financial Crime Policies and Standards. You will also support the execution of the Group Financial Crime training and awareness framework and communications strategy.
You will work closely with the Regulatory Affairs Team and local 2LoD financial crime teams to identify and assess UK and global regulatory requirements. Building collaborative relationships across Group Risk and Compliance, asset management, life, and corporate functions is key to enhancing risk management and compliance culture.

Requirements
- Established experience within financial crime and understanding of financial crime risks in asset management and/or insurance sectors.
- Highly experienced in tracking and interpreting regulatory changes to update financial crime obligation registers, policies, and standards.
- Highly experienced in performing gap analysis and benchmarking of current policy/standards against regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Highly experienced in writing, reviewing, and maintaining financial crime policy/standards within asset management and/or insurance sectors.
- Highly experienced in designing and embedding a risk-based approach in financial crime policy/standards.
Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain the M&G Group and UK Financial Crime Policy in line with the M&G Policy and Governance Framework.
- Produce and maintain M&G Group Financial Crime Standards, including Group Minimum Requirements and supporting guidance, matrices, and parameters.
- Identify and assess all UK and global financial crime regulatory requirements in coordination with the Regulatory Affairs Team and local 2LoD FC teams.
- Review and maintain M&G Financial Crime obligations and update policies and standards accordingly.
- Support the execution of the M&G Group Financial Crime Training and Competency Framework and financial crime communications strategy.
- Contribute to the definition of M&G Policy and Governance Framework and Risk Management Framework.
- Disseminate the Financial Crime Policy, Standards, and related frameworks across the global organisation and engage with asset management, life, and corporate functions.
- Help identify training requirements resulting from changes to Group Policies and Standards and engage the Group Central Financial Crime Functions as needed.
