This is a senior, highly influential leadership role at the intersection of strategy, marketing and execution. As Director of Business Partner Marketing, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders across QBE’s Insurance and Reinsurance businesses. Translate commercial priorities into compelling, customer-led marketing strategies that drive growth, engagement and measurable impact.
Lead global and local media agencies and creative partners to deliver high-impact campaigns that bring strategy and local media plans to life. Simplify how a large and diverse stakeholder group engages with International Marketing. Embed clear ways of working, strong governance and scalable operating models, with future automation and AI in mind.
Champion audience-led thinking grounded in customer and broker insight. Build a marketing centre of excellence that delivers distinctive campaigns, best practice and clear return on investment. Play a key leadership position within International Marketing as a trusted strategic partner to senior stakeholders.

Requirements
- Strategic, collaborative marketing leader
- Experience partnering closely with senior leaders in insurance and reinsurance businesses
- Proven ability to lead global and local media agencies and creative partners
- Strong senior stakeholder management, especially across European markets
- Expertise in translating commercial priorities into customer-led marketing strategies
- Champion audience-led thinking grounded in customer and broker insight
- Skills in designing scalable operating models with automation and AI
- Track record building marketing centres of excellence delivering ROI
Responsibilities
- Translate business priorities and growth levers into marketing strategy and execution
- Act as senior marketing consultant to country managers, European Committee and key stakeholders
- Enable local and regional marketing activities consistent with global brand but with local relevance and ready-to-deploy assets
- Design integrated marketing campaigns, propositions and content strategy aligned to commercial priorities
- Ensure marketing activity is activated through effective channels, formats and positioning flexing based on market trends
- Manage significant senior stakeholders with focus on European Markets
- Coach and develop marketing talent, creating a high-performing centre of excellence
- Partner with media agencies to brief, shape, prioritise campaign assets and ensure right mix of channels
