The KPMG SAP function is a cornerstone of our business, operating from hubs in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham. The SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant specializing in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) designs and oversees end-to-end solutions that integrate asset management and maintenance processes across Supply Chain and Finance. This role translates complex requirements into scalable, robust SAP EAM solutions adhering to best practices.

Lead functional and technical solution design for SAP EAM implementations, focusing on integration points with Supply Chain and Finance. Conduct fit-to-standard analysis and requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders across Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain. Design end-to-end processes for asset lifecycle cycles like Plan-to-Maintain and Procure-to-Retire.

Work within a network of 20 offices nationally, serving UK institutions with diligence and expertise. Collaborate across functions to ensure seamless data flow between modules. Oversee solution integrity from design to go-live with architectural governance.

Leverage SAP S/4HANA EAM innovations including embedded analytics, IoT, predictive maintenance, and AI/ML tools. Manage integrations with non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite, APIs, and OData. Own commercial aspects of client engagements including scope, pricing, and risk management.

Requirements

Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA across multiple Enterprise Asset Management modules (e.g., Plant Maintenance, Customer Service, Asset Performance Management)
Integration knowledge of EAM with Materials Management, Finance, and Project Systems
Proven experience in designing and implementing integrated end-to-end processes spanning asset management, Supply Chain, and Finance
Experience with maintenance costing, asset accounting integration, and spare parts management
Knowledge of SAP best practices for asset lifecycle management
Familiarity with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes

Responsibilities

Lead the functional and technical solution design for SAP EAM implementations within S/4HANA, focusing on integration points between asset management, Supply Chain, and Finance
Conduct comprehensive fit-to-standard analysis and requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders across Maintenance, Operations, Supply Chain
Design end-to-end processes for key asset lifecycle cycles such as Plan-to-Maintain, Procure-to-Retire, and integration with Procure-to-Pay for spare parts
Provide expert guidance on leveraging SAP S/4HANA EAM innovations, embedded analytics, IoT, predictive maintenance, and AI/ML tools
Oversee integration strategies between SAP S/4HANA EAM and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite, APIs, and OData
Ensure solution integrity across the project lifecycle for EAM, providing architectural governance
Own the commercial aspects of client engagements, including scope definition, pricing, risk management, and margin delivery
