About this role

Ebury is expanding capabilities across embedded payments, cards and stablecoins, making Anti Money Laundering controls a critical part of product strategy. The Senior Product Manager owns Transaction Monitoring across fiat, crypto, card and hybrid payment flows as domain lead.

You will work at the intersection of First Line, Compliance, Engineering and Data to build scalable, regulator-ready controls. The role focuses on enabling growth across traditional and digital asset rails while meeting different compliance frameworks and Crypto Travel Rule requirements.

Partnership with operational teams ensures controls stay effective, explainable and audit-ready. Collaboration with Data Science covers predictive AI model inputs, outputs and thresholds for transaction monitoring.

This position reports to the Head of Financial Crime Intelligence Product and supports regulatory reviews with strong product narratives while driving operational scalability.

Requirements

Previous experience in fintech, crypto, payments, regulated financial services.
4+ years’ experience as a Product Manager.
2+ years working on AML / Transaction Monitoring products.
Hands-on exposure to crypto transaction monitoring (in particular Stablecoins) or VASP compliance.
Experience with blockchain analytics tools (e.g. Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic or similar).
Experience with travel rule tools (e.g. Notabene).

Responsibilities

Balance growth vs risk trade-offs across payment rails.
Use data and research to identify pain points, investigate anomalies, and deliver optimisations.
Define the strategy for Transaction Monitoring aligned with Financial Crime Intelligence Product domain goals.
Translate regulatory and AML requirements into clear product requirements.
Partner with first line and second line teams to ensure controls are effective, explainable, audit-ready.
Drive improvements in false positive reduction, alert quality and operational scalability.
Work with Engineering on vendor integrations, event schemas, transaction data models and system scalability.
