We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to deliver a risk-based audit plan that strengthens the Lloyd’s market and supports long-term strategy.

You’ll work closely with Internal Audit leadership to plan and deliver high-quality, risk-based audits across Lloyd’s. This involves assessing key risks, processes and controls across a complex, global organisation and presenting clear, balanced findings to senior stakeholders.

You’ll build strong relationships across the business, risk and compliance teams while coordinating with external advisers and co-source partners when specialist insight is needed. Independent judgement, sound challenge and a focus on outcomes remain aligned to professional standards and Lloyd’s Internal Audit methodology.

Requirements

  • Experience in internal or external audit, delivering high-quality audit work and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of audit standards, controls and risk frameworks
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including handling challenge well
  • Ability to explain complex issues clearly and objectively
  • Experience in insurance or reinsurance, or a strong interest in the sector
  • Professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, CIA, ACII or equivalent) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver internal audits end-to-end, from scoping to reporting
  • Assess key risks, processes and controls across a complex, global organisation
  • Present clear, balanced findings and practical recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships across the business, risk and compliance teams
  • Coordinate with external advisers and co-source partners when specialist insight is needed
  • Follow up on actions to make sure issues are resolved and improvements stick
