As Finance Business Partner – Product & Technology you will sit at the centre of the SaaS engine. You will work directly with senior leaders in Product and Engineering to guide investment decisions, improve cost efficiency and shape the product portfolio.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, the role focuses on financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the Product & Technology functions. You will turn operational metrics into clear insights that support data-driven decisions across the business.
This position offers the chance to influence resource allocation, track key SaaS indicators such as ARR and R&D investment, and help embed financial discipline while Civica continues its global growth and transformation.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with 1-2 years of post-qualified experience.
- Experience in a finance business partnering role or supporting clients within a SaaS, technology or product-led environment.
- Commercial and financial understanding of SaaS commercial models and operational KPIs.
- Able to influence and challenge stakeholders using data-driven insights.
- Skilled at translating financial and operational data into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, modelling and forecasting skills with comfort working with large data sets and scenario analysis.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance partner to operational leaders across Product and Engineering functions.
- Support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting across Product & Technology.
- Drive accountability for operational performance through business cases, KPI tracking and financial analysis.
- Translate operational metrics into financial insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Product, Engineering and Data Teams to align plans with development capacity and strategic goals.
- Influence resource planning, cost efficiencies and investment prioritisation.
- Analyse key SaaS metrics including ARR, CAC, churn and R&D investment to support growth initiatives.
- Contribute to process improvements in forecasting, cost allocation and profitability reporting.
