This role manages the end-to-end KYC on-boarding of new client relationships, including conducting client outreach, Customer Due Diligence, and Screening for Bribery, Corruption, Adverse Media, and sanctions. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies while managing multiple priorities. Complete deliverables in a timely fashion.
The KYC On-Boarding team is part of Client KYC Group within Global Corporate & Investment Banking of MUFG Bank London branch. It acts as centralized 1st line support to Corporate & Investment Banking in EMEA, Capital Markets, and MUFG Securities across EMEA. Operate under dual-hat arrangement for banking arm and securities business.

Requirements
- Knowledge of Bank’s AML policy and applicable regulatory requirements
- Experience completing Bribery and Corruption checks for clients
- Proficiency in performing Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence
- Ability to conduct PEP, sanctions, and Adverse Media screening
- Skill in identifying Ultimate Beneficial Owners and complex structures
- Familiarity with compliance for banking and securities under dual-hat arrangement
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet SLAs in fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end KYC on-boarding of new client relationships
- Conduct client outreach, Customer Due Diligence, and Screening for Bribery, Corruption, Adverse Media, and sanctions
- Ensure KYC due diligence onboarding reviews completed within prescribed SLA and comply with Bank’s AML policy
- Complete Bribery and Corruption checks for prospective transactions to identify risks
- Perform Customer Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence on variety of entity types
- Conduct PEP, sanctions, and Adverse Media screening to identify potential risks
- Identify and validate Ultimate Beneficial Owners and complex corporate control structures
- Actively seek opportunities to improve the on-boarding process
