About this role
The SDR Manager, Financial Services, is responsible for accelerating pipeline generation and driving new business growth. This role attracts, retains, and cultivates exceptional Sales Development and future Account Executive talent, leading a dynamic team of highly driven self-starters passionate about the AlphaSense product.
Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and mentoring the team to secure high-quality meetings with senior executives. The manager establishes effective sales development strategies that scale as the team grows and partners on go-to-market strategy across email, phone, and social messaging.
The Sales Development team sits at the front line of prospect engagement and pipeline generation. We identify potential prospects, leverage diverse outreach strategies, and collaborate with Account Executives to expand our footprint in new and existing accounts, relying on product and industry knowledge to communicate the value of our solution.
The manager helps develop and maintain training materials to maximize team performance and executes professional development programming. This positions team members for success as future Account Executives and drives top-of-funnel growth through innovative strategies, all within a work environment that supports, inspires, and respects all individuals.
Requirements
- Sales leader with a passion for training, coaching, and development
- Creative problem solver that identifies new and innovative ways to drive top-of-funnel growth
- Analytical thinker that leverages data to make decisions and recommendations
- Natural motivator that inspires team members to achieve ambitious goals
- Experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of market intelligence platforms
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a sales development team
- Strong understanding of sales engagement tools and CRM systems
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the team to secure high-quality meetings with senior executives, driving the team to meet or exceed KPIs
- Establish effective sales development strategies that scale as the team grows
- Partner on the go-to-market strategy, including email, phone, and social messaging
- Help develop and maintain training materials to maximize team performance
- Proactively track and analyze key trends to inform data-driven decisions
- Help develop, plan, and execute extensive professional development programming to enable team members to be successful Sales Development Representatives and position them for success in a future Account Executive role
- Assist with identifying, attracting, and managing talent
