London, GB · Full-time · £70,000 – £95,000

About this role

Welltower, the world's largest real estate company by market capitalization, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate to join our UK Asset Management team. This role sits at the intersection of asset operations, value creation, and growth strategy, focusing on our UK portfolio of senior living, hospitality, and wellness-focused properties.

You will play a central role in optimizing asset performance by reviewing monthly operator performance, identifying trends through variance analyses, and creating forward-looking strategic plans. Regular tours of assigned senior living communities will help you identify operational, staffing, physical plant, or service delivery issues, partnering with operators to implement timely solutions.

Our culture is fast-paced, collaborative, and endlessly ambitious, guided by the mantra: The only easy day was yesterday. We empower every team member to think like an owner, innovate fearlessly, and lead from where they stand, working alongside internal teams such as Investments, FP&A, Operations, Business Analytics, and Capital Projects.

This role offers the opportunity to drive outperformance in complex operations and play offense inside an innovative platform. You will develop and present annual business plans, budgets, and strategic performance updates, directly shaping the future of healthcare infrastructure in the UK.

  • Conduct detailed financial modeling, including valuations, pro-forma cash flow analyses, and return assessments for asset-level value-add initiatives.
  • Translate financial performance to underlying operational drivers and partner with the Capital Projects team for value-add capex program implementation.
  • Develop and present annual business plans, budgets, and strategic performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Investments, FP&A, Operations, Business Analytics, and Capital Projects to align portfolio strategy.
