About this role
Corpay is seeking an HR People Operations Business Partner to join our Cross Border line of business within the People Operations team, based in London (Moorgate). This role focuses on delivering efficient, high-quality HR support to the Corporate team, working closely with managers and employees to ensure consistent policy application and a positive employee experience across the London teams.
Day-to-day, you will take ownership of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from inductions and probation to performance cycles and offboarding. You will manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries and grievances, provide clear advice to managers, and maintain accurate employee data within HR systems.
Reporting directly to the HR Director – HR Operations, you will collaborate with senior leaders, line managers, and employees across the Cross Border corporate teams. You will work in an office environment with an assigned workspace at the Moorgate location, supported by a dedicated, results-focused HR Operations team and company-issued equipment.
This role offers the chance to balance operational excellence with proactive process improvement, contributing to key People Operations initiatives and cyclical processes like performance and compensation reviews. You will play a pivotal role in shaping a consistent, compliant, and positive employee experience while supporting the growth of the London-based corporate teams.
Requirements
- Experience delivering HR operations support within a corporate or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and ability to ensure compliance with internal policies
- Proven ability to manage employee relations cases with a fair, consistent, and compliant approach
- Experience using HR systems to maintain accurate employee records and support reporting requirements
- Ability to coach and guide managers on people processes and best practices
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when executing core HR processes
- Capability to support audits and documentation requirements for compliance and governance
Responsibilities
- Execute core HR processes across the employee lifecycle (inductions, probation, performance cycles, offboarding)
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of employee data within HR systems
- Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and practical support
- Manage day-to-day employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
- Provide clear, consistent advice to managers in line with company policy and local employment law
- Coach and guide managers on people processes, policies, and best practices
- Support the rollout of People Operations initiatives and cyclical processes (e.g., performance reviews, compensation reviews)
