About this role
The Vice President, Talent Acquisition is a pivotal role within BNY's People Team in the Talent Acquisition job family. This position develops and executes talent acquisition strategies aligned with BNY's strategic pillars of fostering innovation, operational excellence, and client-centricity while embodying principles of integrity, teamwork, and excellence.
Daily responsibilities center on leading the design and implementation of innovative talent acquisition strategies by leveraging industry expertise and market insights. The role collaborates with senior leadership to understand talent needs and drives recruitment initiatives that align with business objectives.
Strategic partnerships are built with educational institutions and industry organizations to create robust talent pipelines. Data-driven approaches are applied to enhance recruitment processes and improve the overall candidate experience.
Mentorship and guidance are provided to recruitment teams to uphold best practices. Diversity and inclusion are promoted in all hiring practices to build a workforce that reflects BNY's values and strategic vision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or combination of equivalent education and experience required
- Advanced degree or HR certification preferred
- Typically 5-8 years of experience
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
