About this role
The Associate – Asset Management (Retail & Office) will support the Asset Management team in driving value creation and monitoring performance across a diversified pan-European portfolio of retail and office assets. The role partners closely with senior asset managers, investment teams, finance, and third-party operators to ensure high-quality analysis and disciplined execution throughout the asset lifecycle.
Based in London, this role supports assets across Europe across direct holdings, joint ventures, and co-invest vehicles. The Associate contributes to acquisitions onboarding, ongoing asset oversight, financing and refinancing processes, and exit execution with a focus on rigorous financial analysis and data integrity.

The Associate works day-to-day with senior members of the Asset Management team, gaining exposure to the full range of strategies and structures. This role offers the opportunity to drive value creation initiatives, manage third-party relationships, and contribute to portfolio performance across Europe.
Requirements
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with experience in real estate asset management.
- Knowledge of retail and office asset classes, including market dynamics and operating metrics.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting (NOI, IRR, occupancy).
- Experience managing external third-party operators, property managers, and service providers.
- Ability to prepare and present materials for operating reviews and business reviews.
- Excellent data integrity and attention to detail in financial reporting and governance.
- Familiarity with pan-European real estate markets and regulatory environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and execute value creation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage asset-level business plans in partnership with wider Deal Team and external operating partners.
- Monitor operating performance (NOI, occupancy, leasing velocity, renewals, arrears, opex) and proactively address underperformance.
- Co-ordinate annual budgeting and Quarterly IRR reforecasting processes with operating partners.
- Help identify and execute value creation initiatives including revenue management, cost control, and unit/amenity upgrades.
- Act as day-to-day asset management interface with external operating partners, property managers and key third-party service providers.
- Endorse and maintain governance rhythms including weekly/monthly operating reviews and quarterly business reviews.
- Drive standardisation of reporting templates and definitions across the sector to enable consistent portfolio aggregation.
- Maintain awareness of market parameters and apply actionable insights for business decisions.
