Blackstone's Real Estate business was founded in 1991 and has $319 billion of investor capital under management, making it the largest owner of commercial real estate globally. Summer Analysts will join one of four groups: Acquisitions, Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Core+, working across sectors such as logistics, data centers, residential, office, and hospitality.

The program is a 10-week in-person experience offering extensive exposure across the firm. Summer Analysts will receive valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, and both technical and soft skill training, alongside networking opportunities with professionals across Blackstone.

This unique opportunity allows participants to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture and gain direct exposure to real estate investing at the highest level. The Core+ business invests in substantially stabilized assets globally, while the opportunistic funds seek to acquire undermanaged, well-located assets worldwide.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated interest in real estate investing and financial markets
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • History of academic achievement and intellectual curiosity
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with a willingness to take ownership of work streams

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing, underwriting, and executing real estate investment opportunities across Acquisitions or Core+
  • Support asset management teams in monitoring portfolio performance and implementing value-creation initiatives
  • Help structure and execute debt financings and capital markets transactions for real estate assets
  • Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify investment trends and opportunities
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancings
  • Participate in due diligence processes, including reviewing legal documents, financial statements, and property data
  • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and internal reports for senior deal teams
