The Asset Management / MRO SME provides deep domain expertise to shape business processes, operating models, and requirements for Maximo-based solutions. This ensures solutions remain grounded in real-world operational needs, regulatory constraints, and industry best practice across the asset lifecycle.

Day-to-day work centres on defining and validating asset management processes including work management, maintenance planning, inventory, and reliability. The role also leads creation of target-state processes while supporting requirements capture and data model definition aligned to operational use cases.

Collaboration occurs with Solution Architects and Functional Leads to confirm correct alignment of capabilities across EAM, ERP, PLM, and wider enterprise systems. Participation in workshops, testing, and validation activities ensures designs remain fit-for-purpose and traceable.

The position supports accurate asset traceability, auditability, and lifecycle performance tracking through defined data structures and standards. All offers are subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance requiring five years continuous UK address history.

Requirements

Subject matter expertise in asset management and MRO domain
Experience shaping business processes and operating models for Maximo-based solutions
Ability to ensure solutions align to practical operations and industry standards
Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, and reliability processes
Familiarity with EAM, ERP, and PLM system alignment
Satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance with five years continuous UK address history

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise across asset lifecycle management, maintenance, repair, and operational support
Define and validate asset management processes including work management, maintenance planning, inventory, and reliability
Lead definition of target state asset management processes and ways of working
Support requirements capture and ensure clarity of business needs
Work with Solution Architects and Functional Leads to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose
Ensure correct alignment of capabilities across EAM, ERP, PLM, and wider enterprise systems
Define key asset data structures, critical attributes, and data standards required for effective asset management
Support definition of data models aligned to real-world asset and maintenance use cases
