Brookfield Infrastructure seeks a Summer intern for its London office in a 10-week program starting end of June 2024. The role involves working closely with seasoned infrastructure investment professionals on high-profile transactions throughout Europe. Interns interact with and support the global investment team network.

Daily responsibilities include originating and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence on potential acquisitions, and researching companies and industry dynamics. The intern prepares investment committee materials and transaction documents while taking an active role in portfolio company strategy and management. Special projects arise as needed in this dynamic environment.

The team comprises around 50 professionals in London and Madrid, part of the #1 asset manager in infrastructure private equity with over $160bn AUM globally and $40bn in Europe. Recent marquee transactions include the $19bn acquisition of Deutsche Telekom’s tower portfolio and $4bn Data4 data centers. The group manages $140bn in critical assets across transport, utilities, energy, and data sectors worldwide.

Requirements

  • Professional, positive, and curious attitude
  • 4-6 years of experience in Principal Investing, Investment Banking, Restructuring, or other relevant areas
  • Ability to contribute to a dynamic and team-oriented culture
  • Experience in conducting due diligence
  • Infrastructure experience

Responsibilities
